Challenge
The main challenge was building a polished, mobile-responsive wedding experience within a small MVP scope while still handling real product needs like RSVP submission, duplicate prevention, spam protection, owner management, CSV export, and deployment readiness without overengineering.
Objective
The objective was to create a one-day portfolio-ready full-stack web app using Next.js, Supabase, Sentry, and Vercel that feels elegant on the frontend, reliable on the backend, and simple enough for real users to try instantly through a public wedding link.
Results
The final product delivers a premium Malay wedding-inspired RSVP experience with a responsive hero, invitation-style event pages, animated petals, guest wishes carousel, email-only owner access, protected owner actions, RSVP validation, monitoring, and a production-ready deployment flow.
